Morning Star Fellowship partners with Chosen 300 in Pottstown
Beginning January 2011, Morning Star Fellowship began feeding the homeless and those needing help in Pottstown. We parter with Chosen 300, a ministry that operates out of Philadelphia in several locations. The mission of Chosen 300 is below:
Our Mission
To bring people of different membership groups together; helping them to realize that despite our differences in our race, ethnic group, denomination, social class, economic classes, or the diverse ways we practice our faith; we can unify ourselves for the common good.
The purpose of our unification is to distribute meals and services to the homeless throughout the Philadelphia Region and around the world.
As a church, we have committed to making and serving the meal on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. Currently Morning Star has FOUR TEAMS that serve one time a month, every other month either on the 2nd or 4th Saturdays. Schedule is below. No experience is needed, just a heart to love and serve the world. For information on how you can become a part of our TEAM contact Bruce Borgard.
