Ladies' Ministries is an important part of Morning Star Fellowship. We typically offer several small groups geared toward ladies needs. In addition to this we meet the 3rd Thursday night of most months of a Ladies' Night Out. Throughout the year, we plan at least two larger scale events, including our Spring Conference and Fall Convention.
Linda Cisick leads our Women's Ministry. Linda is the mother of two young women and lucky enough to have a great son-in law. She has been married for 17 Years to Jim. Being a Nana to two little girls, a little boy and one little angel is the greatest gift she has been given. Linda has had a relationship with Jesus since she was a teen, and continues to struggle to walk her walk out everyday through the good and the bad. Linda is a licensed practical nurse and holds a Masters Degree in Human Services. She loves to serve, plan, and organize. Her favorite hobbies are reading, auctioning/going to yard sales and gardening.

We are preparing to host our Ladies' Spring event, THIRST on March 16. This is a yearly event at Morning Star. Tickets are on sale now and include lunch and five entries in our Basket Give Away. You will enjoy a great time of worship, along with a dynamic speaker, Stephanie Peters plus some FUN!! This year we are planning a Basket Give Away to raise money for our special project, which is digging a well for the Redemption Home in New Delhi, India.
Here is how it will work. We are collecting THEME BASKETS and these will be on display during the event. With the purchase price of your ticket ($25) you will receive 5 tickets to cast your vote on the basket(s) you want. Additional tickets can be purchased if your would like to have more opportunities to win. During the event, we will pick a winner for each basket and if you are one of the winners, you will go home with a basket. All proceeds go to our well project.
