Missions in in our DNA

We consider supporting missions part of our DNA. Between supporting missionaries in over 40 countries, sending teams to support missionary work in the field, and working on domestic missions projects, we believe we are following the commands of Jesus when we go and serve.

Total Village Transformation

Our big missions project is TOTAL VILLAGE TRANSFORMATION in Quebrada Honda, Guatemala.  For the past 4 years we have been working in conjunction with World Help and Hope of Life International to bring this poverty stricken village hope, health, and education.  So far we have completed the Water Well, built a church, constructed a home for the pastor and put a new roof and other repairs on the village school.  What an amazing experience!

We are now able to SPONSOR CHILDREN in Quebrada Honda through HOPE OF LIFE International.  They have selected 112 of the poorest, neediest children.  Would you like to help?  If you would like to sponsor one of these children, contact liz@mstar.org to receive a SPONSORSHIP FORM that can be mailed to Hope of Life.
Also, email Liz to let her know the name and ID of the child so we can keep track of the sponsored children.

Other Missions Projects

Missionary Sponsorships:

We sponsor a number of missionaries representing AG World Missions as well as other organizations.  Information on specific missionaries is available to view in the Lobby of our Bechtelsville Campus.

Well Digging Initiative:

Part of Pastor Steve’s Vision is to dig 14 life-giving wells in villages without access to clean water.  We know that water-bourne disease account for most preventable deaths of children.  As of 2015, we already have 8 wells dug  across 5 countries.

Disaster Rebuilding Trips:

Our own Pastor Paul Willman has a heart for areas hit by devastating storms or other natural disasters.  He has lead numerous trips to help in the rebuilding efforts following events such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy, PA Flood Zones, and more.  Contact Pastor Paul if you are interested in a domestic missions trip.
