You can’t do life alone. If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to surround yourself with people who have the same goal.
At Morning Star Fellowship, we believe that while Sunday morning services are great, lasting growth as a Christian happens in a small group. Small groups are groups of eight to twelve adults that meet regularly throughout the year to pursue spiritual growth and to develop healthy, rewarding Christian relationships.
Most groups meet for three “terms” each year, with breaks in between:
February through April, June through July, and September through November.
We have small groups for adults in various stages of life:
- Couples Groups – These groups are geared for both married couples and dating/engaged couples. They often deal with topics related to marriage and life in relationships.
- Mixed Groups – These are fully open groups with mixes of people across all different age ranges and relationship statuses.
- Young Family Groups – These groups cater to the needs of families with young children. Childcare is usually available for these groups.
- Special Topic Groups – These groups exist for people who want to study a particular topic, regardless of the church-wide curriculum, and may meet for special activities as well.
While most groups are currently on break, the new term starts in September 2016. Below is a link to the list of groups currently meeting:
We LOVE resourcing small groups and families with materials, and have partnered with Right Now Media to provide our church family with 1,000s of video resources to help you grow in your faith. You can access our teaching resources here: Right Now Media. If you do not currently have access to RNM, you can use the small group leader contact form to request access.
